Anne 10th March 2021

We first met Norman in 1983 when he popped his head over our back fence & introduced himself & Margie as our new neighbours. That was the start of a friendship lasting near four decades. Even their move to Cornwall & the 300 mile distance from Kent didn't diminish our friendship & we visited often. We remember & treasure our many holidays here & abroad & our cruising adventures. We loved playing cards when we were together & it was either a game of Crib or Whist along with (probably too much) Whisky. We remember Norman as a happy man whose 'silly' side was making up rhyming ditties & his 'sensible' side was a trusted person to go to for sound advice. We are so thankful he moved to Watersedge Cottage all those years ago, our lives have been enriched by a lovely man & a beautiful friendship. Norman was our dearest friend & we shall miss him.
